Wasn't sure what to expect, but we knew we wanted a dark roast and with this being an Italian blend--from Napoli, no less!--we decided to try it and we were not disappointed. Just the right balance--my husband uses a sweetened creamer and found he only needed half the amount he usually uses, but the coffee does not come off "sweet" in the strict sense of the word. I drink it black and it is just perfect. Would buy again!--two thumbs up!
